A little update and big news!

Thinking it’s time for a bit of an update so here goes. Since my last post I have managed to complete this new smaller piece titled Game Day. My intention was to try and capture that mist sitting above the field early in the day. I’m pretty pleased with the outcome.

As I mentioned in an earlier post that I had a few things ‘requiring my attention’…

The big news is…I am moving! After enjoying 8 years in Sooke on the beautiful South Island we have decided to embark on our next chapter a little further north so we are heading to Nanaimo. Exciting time, looking forward to whatever that brings!

So with listing and selling our home and purchasing a new one it’s been a bit of a whirlwind! Not much time for painting! Now with the packing up beginning, I plan to take down my studio and focus more on getting out plein air painting when the weather permits (plein air is still pretty new to me and I’m a fair weather painter).

Until March 14th

I have two pieces (one has sold) in the Celebrate! Show on through March 14th at the https://www.artsandculturecolwood.ca/upcomingevents in their new gallery at 170 Goldfinch Road. The gallery is quite stunning and this first show there is not to be missed. I will be volunteering at the gallery on Thursday, February 29th from 10-noon. I would love to see you there!

I also have several pieces of various sizes available at Serious Coffee in Sooke that will be there until mid March.
