Hi all, I feel the need to send a brief update and also acknowledge some new subscribers to my website blog. Thanks for being here, your interest is important to me. Welcome to sharing my art journey.
With just 5 weeks till our move I have not done much painting lately. I have been kept busy for sure. I am taking time to pack, weed out and plan a Moving/Art Sale. Through that process I have chosen to enter a few art shows as well.
So far here is where that’s at:
March 28-April 13th
Thrilled this painting has been accepted to Goldfinch Art Space. This event showcases art from members of Arts & Culture Colwood Society. https://www.artsandculturecolwood.ca/upcomingevents. The show opens tomorrow! I will be at the gallery volunteering on Thursday, March 28th from 10-noon, would love to see you.
April 12-May 26
Excited to announce this painting has been juried into The Wonder of Water Show at Metchosin Art Pod https://metchosinartpod.ca/the-wonder-of-water-opening-reception-sat-apr-13th/. Hope to see you at the Opening Reception on April 13th.
May 27-June 16
I have submitted these 2 paintings to the Landscape Exhibition at the Federation of Canadian Artists Granville Island Gallery. Stay tuned! Submission results TBA April 8th
Moving day is May 1st and will be here before I know it, still lots to do. I’m so looking forward to setting up my new studio space in May and getting back to my passion.
