A gift well received…

Recently a piece I gifted to the District of Sooke was shared in chambers by Mayor Maja Tait at their May 27th meeting.

I felt this piece really belonged in Sooke where the inspiration came during the much needed upgrades to the highway. The sunlit spools of colourful rope against a true blue summer sky spoke to me. Perhaps it could serve as a bit of a shout out to all the crews who worked get this done. Happy to hear it was well received.

Described as one who sees the art in nature, it is here where my endless inspiration comes from. Loving the challenge of capturing the feeling of where I stand, I enjoy recreating that feeling on canvas.
