Well good morning 2024!
Great things are happening…just today I hung my art at Serious Coffee in Sooke. I was so pleased to receive a call that my turn in the rotation there has arrived, and just after my turn at the Serious Coffee in Sidney had come to an end. It’s so great to have the support of these local businesses!
Here’s a few of the pieces I have up now in Sooke, including a couple of new ones. Drop into the coffee shop and check out the art while you’re there.
I am putting the finishing touches on a commission right now. I will share once delivered to the client. Exciting times.
Here’s hoping for a year full of promise and opportunities to continue to find joy around me. Still sidelined from running on land so I am spending a lot of time at the pool; water aerobics and water running to stay active. Of course I still can get out on my bike which I always enjoy. I’m hopeful to get out hiking soon as I really am missing standing where I get the most inspiration for my art. Stay tuned for now on that.
What are your plans to find joy this year? Any experiences you are looking forward to? I would love to hear about them. Often we get inspired from those around us sharing their experiences so please feel free to share.
Wishing you all a very happy new year whatever it brings. As we make our way through the darker days of winter I will aim to let light in to warm my soul, encourage creativity, be brave with my painting, and spend time in nature.
